The Shootists is a group of men and women from all walks of life with a common interest in the shooting sports, but with a twist: integrity. Founded by John Taffin in 1985, the Shootists has grown to a membership of about a hundred and continues to hold its annual Shootists Holiday each June at the NRA Whittington Center in Raton, New Mexico. Our focus is still what it has always been: striving to meet the challenge of Ezekiel 22:30 and to be "one to ride the river with."
